Live from Har-ber! This week has been so busy, there just isn't enough time in a day! We have met a lot of amazing people and finally experienced some cold weather. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the start of this holiday season! She still has a lot to work through but is so ready and willing to take those steps. Hello from Har-ber!! (That opening line is so repetitive but I'm counting on it changing someday😂) Another busy day, so I will jump straight to some highlights: •     We went over to see Misty and Sister Anderson played the guitar song she wrote. Misty was crying and just loved it so much. After the song she led the way on her electric bike to the back of a nearby restaurant. We walked through the trees into an open area where she knocked on her homeless friend's tent and said she had a surprise for him. We set up a camp chair outside the door and played her song. He was so grateful and was the sweetest thing❤️That song had come to Sister Anderson all at once, and now we know why:) Moments like that are really what keep me going as a missionary. •     7 of our friends came to church on Sunday!! Hello from Har-Ber!! I don't have much time, but wow this week was filled with miracles!! The Lord is so involved in this work and has been preparing souls to come to Him! Misty!! "I'm trying to listen to Jesus, eat my sucker, and do nails at the same time. What could be better than this?" If you remember our friend Misty, she dropped us a while ago and even returned the Book of Mormon - so it was really unexpected when she texted us saying she wanted to come to church again on Sunday! She found a ride last minute and we were able to watch the Sunday afternoon session of Conference with her at a members home. The first half she slept like a rock 😂 But then she really started getting into it. She wrote notes, and verbally agreed with a lot of their words, she started getting more and more involved and excited. Hello from Har-Ber!! This week we got to go on exchanges!! I went out with Hermana Ohki and it was such a great experience<3 Her area is Spanish so I perfected the smile and nod while she taught. After the mission I will definitely start trying to learn Spanish - please hold me to it! Thankfully the members we met were bilingual so I was able to participate in lessons with some really amazing people. There is so much to learn from every single person, it was such a cool experience being with Hermana Ohki and the people in her area:) One of the members felt that we should visit one of their neighbors - we knocked on their door and no one answered, went to the next house and the guy said "I better not". As we started walking to our car he ran out yelling "girls! girls! My son would like to talk with you!" Hello from Har-Ber!! This Sunday we had the biggest miracle, we got to watch the dedication of the Bentonville Arkansas temple💕 Elder Bednar spoke and it was so powerful, he broke down to tears during part of it which just emphasized how significant this is. It's not simply another temple, none of them are. We are blessed with a House of the Lord where we can enter into covenant and everlasting relationships with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and be bound as families into the eternities- how incredible is that?  Highlights! •      Went to a Spanish baptismal service which was so cool. I don't think the bishop in charge knew I wasn't a Spanish missionary, so he came up to me during the first hymn and talking in Spanish ushered me to the front to lead the music. So there I stood with nothing but the lyrics, leading off beat and attempting to sound out the words. Hello from Har-Ber! Arkansas school spirit is unmatched. Nearly every house we go to has some form of University of Arkansas decor on their porch - from statues to doormats to giant light up hogs. This Saturday we don't expect to meet with many people, because just about everyone is going to their game against BYU 😂(rumor has it that even Elder Bednar will be there, though no one is sure which team he will be rooting for).  This week I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people! There are so many different denominations here, which means a lot of people reject us as missionaries - but also a lot of people know and love Jesus Christ and are so happy to talk about Him! I wish I could include all of those experiences and people, I've learned so much from them.
