June 20 - 26, 2024

Okay so I just absolutely LOVE the people here. Plenty of those we meet knocking doors are not interested at all - but "hey stay cool out there", and "can I get you a water?" Whether its the ice cream truck stopping to give us free popsicles, member kids watching out the window to greet us, or fellow Christians telling us to keep doing what we are doing - there are just so many good people.

Highlights!
  • Met this cool group of friends at the park. We stood in the middle of the path with melting Popsicles in our hands as they talked and played us their original Christian music. And every time someone passed by they would abruptly leave the conversation to chase them down to ask "do you know Jesus loves you?" Then before we left they prayed for us, and we went away smiling. It took a minute before I turned to Sister Greene and asked: "wait... did she just cast demons out of you?" Yep. Only Arkansas people😂
  • ︎Had another lesson with Josh, who I am convinced is Bob Ross's successor. He showed us some of his artwork inspired by the Spirit, and said that's what he wants to do one day. Those are big shoes to fill, but if anyone can do it - it would be Josh.
  • Our friend Hailey has the deepest questions and doubts, but is so genuine. We had the coolest lesson and right off the bat we knew that Sister Greene was meant to come to this area just for her.🧡
  • My friend Ella just got called to the ABM!! She is incredible and I am beyond excited. The PV 10 ward legacy continues 😆

To end off I wanted to share this verse I thought was beautiful:
"weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" Psalm 30:5 
I'll be the first to admit that life is hard, and sometimes just taking one step forward seems impossible. If thats where you're at, hang on. Don't you let go. It might feel like it now, but the pain doesn't last forever. There is so much joy that awaits you🌄

Centerton, AR May 16 - 22, 2024 Ian got baptized this week!!😆 It was such a special day for him, and he had great support from the Deacons and the ward. I am SO excited for him and his family🩷 Highlights! •     Got to back to my last area, Har-Ber, for zone Conference and saw our sweet member Jeanne! •     Got to talk to the sweetest single dad, Alex, out smoking meat with a pretty crazy contraption. He got emotional at the end, and told us to come back in 6 months after his surgery so he could sit down and talk with us more:) •     Nothing brightens my day more than hanging out with kids at member dinners! It's not every day that you learn about the "Wing Claw Bird", and are waved goodbye by a dancing princess. Mar. 13, 2024 -- Golden Hour🙌

Centerton, AR  March 7th - 13th This week Wyatt was baptized!! What an incredible day. He bore his testimony at the end and shared his story. The spirit was so strong, and it is clear that God has great plans for him. The next day he received the greatest gift for his birthday, the Gift of the Holy Ghost😊 It was so cool to see the proud faces of the brothers Wyatt has met as they watched him make this step. They loved him as soon as they met him, and so many were quick to invite him to dinners and gatherings. It is never to late to be a missionary. Highlights! •     Got to be involved with a service organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they make beds for kids who don't have them. Feb. 28, 2024 -- Where's Gary

Centerton, AR  Feb 22 -28, 2024 While I may not have any crazy stories to share, this week - and every week - is full of tiny little miracles. Some people might call them coincidences, but I know they are miracles:) Tiny miracles/Highlights! •     After our visit, our friend Prakash drove to a neighbors and we sat in the car outside of his house for a good while planning where to go next. Suddenly Sister Thayn notes we should probably go before he gets back, and no joke as soon as I start driving his headlights turn the corner😂 The timing was crazy. •     Couldn't find my wallet, until the next morning when someone had left it untouched on our windshield. •     One of our friends is turning his life to God. He had a court case after someone attacked him and texted us right after saying that God told him to forgive his oppressor, and he did. •     Wyatt!
