Har-Ber, Springdale AR 11/9 - 11/15 Update: Training a new missionary here in Har-ber next transfer!! While I'm so excited, it's going to be so hard to say goodbye to Sister Anderson!! I feel so blessed that God put her in my life, she has been such a light to me and has taught me so much🩷 She will forever be numbered among my best friends, I don't know how I got so lucky. Sister Anderson you will be missed🫡 Kristian and Lelan got baptized this week!! These are two of my favorite people I've met on the mission, and I'm so excited for them! They are so chaotic, every moment is a squirrel moment😂.  They knew most all the interview answers and then treated the interviewing missionary with a performance of Feliz Navidad and African Noel haha. They have been so excited to get baptized and had so much support from the ward!! Sure love those kids, the future is in good hands. Highlights  •     The ward thanksgiving party was ALL OUT. It was awesome. Afterwards ...

Nov. 8, 2023 -- Happy Morm-vember!!

Live from Har-Ber! Time sure is speeding up here. It's been a great week, there are so many people ready to learn here in Springdale!! Highlights! •     Jayden passed the Sacrament for the first time this week!! Can't begin to describe how amazing it felt to see him up there. •     Hanah and Parker are some of the coolest people I've ever met. They are very religious and just really want to know. They are so willing to genuinely seek out truth, if our church isn't true they want to know so they can disprove it - but if it is true they want to know so they can embrace it. They ask so many questions and really intently listen to the answers. They haven't made a decision on our church but are studying and praying and promised to read the Book of Mormon all the way through❤️ •     Parker is also of his own accord doing what he calls "Morm-vember" where he doesn't drink coffee or alcohol for a month. He jokingly put it "I'll put a sleeve over my t...

Hello from Har-Ber!! All week we have been meeting with the Cox kids to help them prepare for their baptism. They are such sweet kids and their parents are so supportive - at the end of the week we got to join them and their grandparents for their nightly Book of Mormon study which was so powerful. I won't be here forever, so I'm so grateful to know they are in such good hands. On Sunday, after a crazy afternoon of rushing pitchers of water from every available faucet to fill the font, Jayden, Khloe, and Brentley were baptized!!  The spirit was so strong and their whole family was just glowing. I'm so grateful families can be together forever through God's merciful plan. Highlights! -     We decided to focus on finding people this week and were able to find 6 people on one street!! There hadn't been much success in the area before, but today it felt like we were sent to the promised land! So many amazing individuals<3 -     On Halloween we volunteer...

Oct. 25, 2023 -- Surprise Baptisms!!

Hello from Har-ber! Sunday we had quite the surprise! Sister Anderson and her old companion had been teaching an inactive family and preparing their kids for baptism. After a family situation came up we hadn't been able to contact them for the past two months. Then out of the blue they all came to church on Sunday! We met with them and Bishop right after Sacrament meeting and they still want to meet their baptism date of next Sunday!! So excited for Chloe, Jaden, and Brentley. Highlights! •     Went to Cracker Barrel with our Bible Study friends Kyle and Victoria! After paying for lunch Kyle insisted on buying us loads of candy😂 •     Helped clean our sweet member Debbie's house. She swapped out the music for a Book of Mormon CD and to us the story behind the trinkets she has collected over the years:) •     Last week we met with our friend Donna (who we didn't think was very interested) and ended up teaching her the restoration and inviting...
