Nov. 15, 2023 -- Student becomes the Master

Update: Training a new missionary here in Har-ber next transfer!! While I'm so excited, it's going to be so hard to say goodbye to Sister Anderson!! I feel so blessed that God put her in my life, she has been such a light to me and has taught me so much🩷 She will forever be numbered among my best friends, I don't know how I got so lucky. Sister Anderson you will be missed🫡
Kristian and Lelan got baptized this week!! These are two of my favorite people I've met on the mission, and I'm so excited for them! They are so chaotic, every moment is a squirrel moment😂.  They knew most all the interview answers and then treated the interviewing missionary with a performance of Feliz Navidad and African Noel haha. They have been so excited to get baptized and had so much support from the ward!! Sure love those kids, the future is in good hands.
Highlights 
•     The ward thanksgiving party was ALL OUT. It was awesome. Afterwards we spent half of the evening trying to relocate a huge Styrofoam tree🤣
•     Guess it's time to decorate...early Christmas package from my family!! Complete with lights, snacks, and lots of pictures - thanks guys!!🎄
•     "When life gives you lemons... eat dog food" -Kenneth
•     Pickleball with Kyle and Victoria! Kyle had a baby in one arm and still beat us by a long shot.
•     We were able to watch the kids in the ward do a primary program! Sister Anderson played one of her songs and it was so cute.
•     One of our less active members Leah came to church! We were so surprised to see her there, because she disagrees with a lot of what she was taught growing up in the church. We have just focused on loving her and helping her feel God's love without any pressure, and it was so cool to hear about the spirit she has been able to feel through that🩷
Alma 18:6 ...he knew that the dark veil of unbelief was being cast away from his mind, and the light which did light up his mind, which was the light of the glory of God, which was a marvelous light of his goodness—yea, this lights had infused such joy into his soul, the cloud of darkness having been dispelled, and that the light of everlasting life was lit up in his soul...
I don't have much time for emails this week but thank you all so much for your support! Stay strong!!

Har-Ber Springdale, AR 1/04/24 - 1/10/24 Highlights! •     Finally finished talking Plan of Salvation with Donna after 3 long lessons! She is so involved and goes in deep. Har-Ber Springdale AR January 18th-24th, 2024 Hey!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We've kept busy here, so straight to the highlights! •     Parul really wants both of her kids to be baptized, but one of them doesn't need to be (we believe it is only necessary for those who are old enough and able to understand the commitment). We were worried she wouldn't let Wendy be baptized if Patrick couldn't, but it suddenly clicked for her that we aren't excluding him, he is simply whole and pure already😊 •     We knocked into our member Sandy's son, he wasn't super interested, but we mentioned it to her. She said she's felt prompted lately that she needs to tell her kids about the Book of Mormon and this helped confirm it!! Out with the Swamp Kittens -- Jan. 31, 2024

Har-Ber Springdale, AR Jan 25th - 31st, 2024 Another great week here in Springdale! I've been working with Parul and her family pretty much since starting and they have come so far. This week they sat in first hour of church (sacrament meeting) for the first time! That was a big steppingstone, Parul has been so worried about it knowing how crazy her kinds can be. It went wonderfully and everyone had a great experience. Wendy is on track to be baptized on the 17th!! Highlights! •     Hit 6 months today!!🎉 •     Saw a live possum "swamp kitty" crossing the street •     We had records of someone the missionaries had visited and had a pretty bad interaction with. He was upset they hadn't come in so long... but because he was so upset no one had come back in another 2 years. Sister Morton felt we should do something so we settled on leaving a note and number.
