Nov. 8, 2023 -- Happy Morm-vember!!

Live from Har-Ber!
Time sure is speeding up here. It's been a great week, there are so many people ready to learn here in Springdale!!
Highlights!
•     Jayden passed the Sacrament for the first time this week!! Can't begin to describe how amazing it felt to see him up there.
•     Hanah and Parker are some of the coolest people I've ever met. They are very religious and just really want to know. They are so willing to genuinely seek out truth, if our church isn't true they want to know so they can disprove it - but if it is true they want to know so they can embrace it. They ask so many questions and really intently listen to the answers. They haven't made a decision on our church but are studying and praying and promised to read the Book of Mormon all the way through❤️
•     Parker is also of his own accord doing what he calls "Morm-vember" where he doesn't drink coffee or alcohol for a month. He jokingly put it "I'll put a sleeve over my tattoo, go to a Soda Shop drive through and tell them I'm reading the Book of Mormon"😂 It's just so fun to laugh and joke with them, and also have these deep conversations where every time we say something Parker looks off into the distance and says "that's very interesting" before telling us (he calls it rambling) all his new thoughts and questions.

•     Met this really awesome guy named Omar. He hasn't prayed in a really long time because he felt unworthy. We testified that God wanted to hear from him, sinner or not, because he is His child. He prayed with us that night and it was so powerful.
1 Nephi 11:17 "And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things."

Har-Ber Springdale, AR 1/04/24 - 1/10/24 Highlights! •     Finally finished talking Plan of Salvation with Donna after 3 long lessons! She is so involved and goes in deep. We were pleasantly surprised at how all of this new information felt so familiar to her! •     We had someone read almost the entire Book of Mormon between visits! Har-Ber Springdale AR January 18th-24th, 2024 Hey!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We've kept busy here, so straight to the highlights! •     Parul really wants both of her kids to be baptized, but one of them doesn't need to be (we believe it is only necessary for those who are old enough and able to understand the commitment). We were worried she wouldn't let Wendy be baptized if Patrick couldn't, but it suddenly clicked for her that we aren't excluding him, he is simply whole and pure already😊 •     We knocked into our member Sandy's son, he wasn't super interested, but we mentioned it to her. She said she's felt prompted lately that she needs to tell her kids about the Book of Mormon and this helped confirm it!! Out with the Swamp Kittens -- Jan. 31, 2024

Har-Ber Springdale, AR Jan 25th - 31st, 2024 Another great week here in Springdale! I've been working with Parul and her family pretty much since starting and they have come so far. This week they sat in first hour of church (sacrament meeting) for the first time! That was a big steppingstone, Parul has been so worried about it knowing how crazy her kinds can be. It went wonderfully and everyone had a great experience. Wendy is on track to be baptized on the 17th!! Highlights! •     Hit 6 months today!!🎉 •     Saw a live possum "swamp kitty" crossing the street •     We had records of someone the missionaries had visited and had a pretty bad interaction with. He was upset they hadn't come in so long... but because he was so upset no one had come back in another 2 years. Sister Morton felt we should do something so we settled on leaving a note and number.
