Mar. 13, 2024 -- Golden Hour🙌

Centerton, AR
March 7th - 13th

This week Wyatt was baptized!! What an incredible day. He bore his testimony at the end and shared his story. The spirit was so strong, and it is clear that God has great plans for him. The next day he received the greatest gift for his birthday, the Gift of the Holy Ghost😊

It was so cool to see the proud faces of the brothers Wyatt has met as they watched him make this step. They loved him as soon as they met him, and so many were quick to invite him to dinners and gatherings. It is never to late to be a missionary.

Highlights!
•     Got to be involved with a service organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they make beds for kids who don't have them. The turnout was huge, and it was so cool seeing everyone work together for such a good cause!
•     As a missionary I've grown a greater appreciation for 1. daylight savings time, and 2. pull through parking
•     Immediately after Wyatt was confirmed, he received a promotion at work that he never even applied to, one that will make following the commandments much easier. It was definitely a direct blessing.
•     A quick stop by visit turned into an hour and a half conversation with a woman in our ward. She told us her conversion story, trials, and all the tiny blessings she sees in her life. ❤️ Just talking about it lit her up, she has so much faith.

I was reading through one of my favorite talks this week, Feed my Sheep - by Elder Holland. I love the way he tells the story of Christ's interaction with Peter, and what it might have been like upon his return:

"What I need, Peter, are disciples—and I need them forever. I need someone to feed my sheep and save my lambs. I need someone to preach my gospel and defend my faith. I need someone who loves me, truly, truly loves me, and loves what our Father in Heaven has commissioned me to do."

I want to live my life in a way that when God asks me that question, "Do you love me?" I can look him in the eyes and say, with tears streaming down my face: "Yea, Lord; though knowest that I love thee." And mean it.

Keep going, especially when the going gets hard. God needs you on his side, and he needs you forever.

Love and Mizpah!
