Oct. 2, 2024 -- Glitter Fixes Everything

I've met so many incredible people in these past weeks, and I'm so grateful our paths crossed paths for a time!! For them it's all worth it. (And I mean for many other reasons too haha)

Highlights!
•     Helped John get a ride to church and answered a big question he had, namely: "when people are abducted by aliens and go to another planet where they then die - are they still judged by our God or do they report to someone else?" Don't know how he came up with that one😂
•     I'm really excited about our new friend Dallas. He received a lot of backlash from friends about it, but met with us anyway- in a well decorated YWs room where our member lovingly offered him a glitter notebook and lip gloss. What a cool guy. He calls himself a doubter but is trying so hard. All he wants is peace of mind, to find an answer. And all we want is for him to find it.🙏
•     Trying to get Jason to church is a rollercoaster. He said he wanted to come on Thursday, despite his sweet sister insisting he didn't have to. But then on Friday his sister called and said he changed his mind. So we visited on Saturday and false alarm he is for sure planning to come. Then we call Sunday morning to hear he isn't feeling good. Needless to say, we were surprised when he stepped out of the car in his bright pink shirt matching his sister, ready for church. Love them😂

I didn't realize it was possible to love someone so much after just one visit, but our member Sister Morton (shout out to my favorite Sister Morton, maybe you're related) proved me wrong. She is a sweetheart. Due to some really hurtful gossip and miscommunication, she hasn't come to church in a long time. But with tears in eyes she explained how much she wants to. We are doing our best to help this beloved daughter of God feel at home. 

O all ye that are pure in heart, lift up your heads and receive the pleasing word of God, and feast upon his love; for ye may, if your minds are firm, forever. Jacob 3:2

Centerton, AR May 16 - 22, 2024 Ian got baptized this week!!😆 It was such a special day for him, and he had great support from the Deacons and the ward. I am SO excited for him and his family🩷 Highlights! •     Got to back to my last area, Har-Ber, for zone Conference and saw our sweet member Jeanne! •     Got to talk to the sweetest single dad, Alex, out smoking meat with a pretty crazy contraption. He got emotional at the end, and told us to come back in 6 months after his surgery so he could sit down and talk with us more:) •     Nothing brightens my day more than hanging out with kids at member dinners! It's not every day that you learn about the "Wing Claw Bird", and are waved goodbye by a dancing princess. Mar. 13, 2024 -- Golden Hour🙌

Centerton, AR  March 7th - 13th This week Wyatt was baptized!! What an incredible day. He bore his testimony at the end and shared his story. The spirit was so strong, and it is clear that God has great plans for him. The next day he received the greatest gift for his birthday, the Gift of the Holy Ghost😊 It was so cool to see the proud faces of the brothers Wyatt has met as they watched him make this step. They loved him as soon as they met him, and so many were quick to invite him to dinners and gatherings. It is never to late to be a missionary. Highlights! •     Got to be involved with a service organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they make beds for kids who don't have them. Feb. 28, 2024 -- Where's Gary

Centerton, AR  Feb 22 -28, 2024 While I may not have any crazy stories to share, this week - and every week - is full of tiny little miracles. Some people might call them coincidences, but I know they are miracles:) Tiny miracles/Highlights! •     After our visit, our friend Prakash drove to a neighbors and we sat in the car outside of his house for a good while planning where to go next. Suddenly Sister Thayn notes we should probably go before he gets back, and no joke as soon as I start driving his headlights turn the corner😂 The timing was crazy. •     Couldn't find my wallet, until the next morning when someone had left it untouched on our windshield. •     One of our friends is turning his life to God. He had a court case after someone attacked him and texted us right after saying that God told him to forgive his oppressor, and he did. •     Wyatt!
