June 19, 2024 -- Weaponize the Primary

Hello!! This week has been full of miracles, I am SO excited to work with Sister Greene, she is the cutest and such a good missionary!! That said, I very much miss Sister Brown. I've had such amazing companions - so blessed to know these sisters!!

Highlights!
•     We have got to spend a lot of time teaching kids this week, and it has been so much fun! You've got to be creative when you've got a whole group of restless children who need to learn about Jesus. As someone in our ward put it, we've got to weaponize the primary.
•     Had some really amazing interactions on day one. Sister Greene was eager to jump in and has such a way of connecting with people. One of the first doors, we got to talk to Blake. He brought chairs out and we had such a cool conversation about God's love in his front yard.
•     Our 5th church tour fell through, but we were there at the right time to meet a guy who came to drop off an old picture of the prophets. He wasn't a member but couldn't bear to see it thrown out so he showed up at the church with a delivery😊
•     We got some pretty good inspiration from one of our members. He told us some cool stories and left us with an invitation he received from Elder Bednar. When they didn't know the first question to the Book of Mormon he invited them to find out and to study each question and its significance. He really hyped this up, and we were ready to be inspired. Imagine our surprise when we read "why do you smite your younger brother with a rod?"😂 Maybe we misunderstood the invitation...

A big highlight was getting to meet with our new friend Olu. He was so open and loved the first vision. The Book of Mormon print was too small for him, so we pulled it up on his huge computer setup. And then when we offered him a large copy, he said he wanted invest in this so he will get his own. Can't argue with that. He shared this quote that I thought was pretty cool:

"The difference between what you want and what you need is the distance between your knee and the floor"

It takes a lot of trust to put your life in God's hands, but the plan he has for you is more wonderful than you could ever imagine.

Centerton, AR May 16 - 22, 2024 Ian got baptized this week!!😆 It was such a special day for him, and he had great support from the Deacons and the ward. I am SO excited for him and his family🩷 Highlights! •     Got to back to my last area, Har-Ber, for zone Conference and saw our sweet member Jeanne! •     Got to talk to the sweetest single dad, Alex, out smoking meat with a pretty crazy contraption. He got emotional at the end, and told us to come back in 6 months after his surgery so he could sit down and talk with us more:) •     Nothing brightens my day more than hanging out with kids at member dinners! It's not every day that you learn about the "Wing Claw Bird", and are waved goodbye by a dancing princess. Mar. 13, 2024 -- Golden Hour🙌

Centerton, AR  March 7th - 13th This week Wyatt was baptized!! What an incredible day. He bore his testimony at the end and shared his story. The spirit was so strong, and it is clear that God has great plans for him. The next day he received the greatest gift for his birthday, the Gift of the Holy Ghost😊 It was so cool to see the proud faces of the brothers Wyatt has met as they watched him make this step. They loved him as soon as they met him, and so many were quick to invite him to dinners and gatherings. It is never to late to be a missionary. Highlights! •     Got to be involved with a service organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they make beds for kids who don't have them. Feb. 28, 2024 -- Where's Gary

Centerton, AR  Feb 22 -28, 2024 While I may not have any crazy stories to share, this week - and every week - is full of tiny little miracles. Some people might call them coincidences, but I know they are miracles:) Tiny miracles/Highlights! •     After our visit, our friend Prakash drove to a neighbors and we sat in the car outside of his house for a good while planning where to go next. Suddenly Sister Thayn notes we should probably go before he gets back, and no joke as soon as I start driving his headlights turn the corner😂 The timing was crazy. •     Couldn't find my wallet, until the next morning when someone had left it untouched on our windshield. •     One of our friends is turning his life to God. He had a court case after someone attacked him and texted us right after saying that God told him to forgive his oppressor, and he did. •     Wyatt!
