Happy Easter!!

Transfers have come and gone, and I had to say goodbye to Sister Thayn after just one transfer. I'm so glad I was able to meet her, and we learned so much together and she will be very missed! I'm now training a new missionary, Sister Brown. She is so much fun, and so ready to work! 

Highlights!
•     Easter Sunday was absolutely wonderful. Our new friends Tabi and Nick (who met one of the senior missionaries at dollar tree!) decided to come, and Wyatt brought his mom!
• Got to decorate Easter eggs with some ward members! The kids named their artwork, one of which was "crying in B minor"
• I'm not in her area anymore... but Wendy got baptized!!😆

The main highlight of the past two weeks was meeting Summer and Brian. The night before, they had prayed for a sign. It took a couple hours of talking to her neighbor about plants (unknowingly waiting for us) for her to be in the right place at the right time, but she was. She quickly invited us over and we had one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. Brian had reached a breaking point, and as he told us what he was going through we just sat there and listened. The Lord didn't need us to say much, he just needed us to be there at the right time. We held hands in a circle and prayed together, then Brian played "What a Beautiful Name." We were surrounded by God's love until it was almost tangible.❤️

Jesus Christ lives. The people we've met and the experiences that we've had this week have truly shown me that he is so aware of us individually.

I can't imagine the despair and hopelessness that His apostles and friends must have felt after their savior died, but contrast that to the incredible hope and joy that he rose!! And because he rose again, it is all going to be okay.

Har-Ber Springdale, AR 1/04/24 - 1/10/24 Highlights! •     Finally finished talking Plan of Salvation with Donna after 3 long lessons! She is so involved and goes in deep. Har-Ber Springdale AR January 18th-24th, 2024 Hey!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We've kept busy here, so straight to the highlights! •     Parul really wants both of her kids to be baptized, but one of them doesn't need to be (we believe it is only necessary for those who are old enough and able to understand the commitment). We were worried she wouldn't let Wendy be baptized if Patrick couldn't, but it suddenly clicked for her that we aren't excluding him, he is simply whole and pure already😊 •     We knocked into our member Sandy's son, he wasn't super interested, but we mentioned it to her. She said she's felt prompted lately that she needs to tell her kids about the Book of Mormon and this helped confirm it!! Out with the Swamp Kittens -- Jan. 31, 2024

Har-Ber Springdale, AR Jan 25th - 31st, 2024 Another great week here in Springdale! I've been working with Parul and her family pretty much since starting and they have come so far. This week they sat in first hour of church (sacrament meeting) for the first time! That was a big steppingstone, Parul has been so worried about it knowing how crazy her kinds can be. It went wonderfully and everyone had a great experience. Wendy is on track to be baptized on the 17th!! Highlights! •     Hit 6 months today!!🎉 •     Saw a live possum "swamp kitty" crossing the street •     We had records of someone the missionaries had visited and had a pretty bad interaction with. He was upset they hadn't come in so long... but because he was so upset no one had come back in another 2 years. Sister Morton felt we should do something so we settled on leaving a note and number.
