Har-Ber Springdale, AR 1/04/24 - 1/10/24 Highlights! •     Finally finished talking Plan of Salvation with Donna after 3 long lessons! She is so involved and goes in deep. We were pleasantly surprised at how all of this new information felt so familiar to her! •     We had someone read almost the entire Book of Mormon between visits! It was the picture one... and she is 9½... but still!🙌 •     Met a really cool guy named Shadrach. We started getting into it when his wife came up (usually that's bad news haha) and told him... to let us in from the cold! Har-Ber, Springdale AR 12/28-1/03 Happy New Year!!🎉 •     Today we went to the temple!! No matter how I feel going in, there is nothing but peace left afterwards. Those temple trips really keep me going. •     We are so excited for our friend Wendy!! A while back we found her mom Parul who was baptized in Kiribati but hasn't come since she moved here. She and her kids are so sweet and have come to church a couple times. While we were teaching Parul, her 12-year-old daughter picked up the BOM! She is preparing for baptism and wants to pray like young Joseph Smith did. •     Critter Count - 4 Possums, 2 Armadillos (0 living) •     Fun member game where we have to choose between sacrificing 2 things (ie. Friends/education). Stakes were high...we decided to head out after they decided to sacrifice their brother Danaan instead😂 •     Lots of low-key bible bashing but also some of powerful lessons!! Har-Ber, Springdale AR  12/21-12/27 I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas!! Christmas Eve was definitely the highlight of my week. We went to the Duncans and they are the picture of southern hospitality - it was like we were family! They did a chaotically wonderful talent show before reading Luke 2 and leaving us with stockings and breakfast. They then went out in the pouring rain to carol for Misty it was so sweet!!🎄❄️ We spent Christmas morning with the Zone where we did a training and a gift exchange and had a great time together. We then went to the Rieskes for Christmas dinner! Even with all their family there they wanted to sit down and visit with us<3 Highlights! •     Transfer news! Har-Ber Springdale, AR 12/14-12/20 Merry Christmas!! ❤️🎄I hope you are all enjoying a white Christmas, I'm still waiting on that😂 I love December because everyone has an excuse to be happy. Be careful not to get lost in comparison or the busyness and make some new memories!! Highlights! •     We decided to visit an unknown member but their house was completely empty. That very next morning the same guy (who we hadn't heard from in years) called and said he wanted to prepare to go back to church!! We visited him and he is so ready to turn his life around and come back. •     I was excited to find a video of my favorite Christmas song, Light of the World by Eclipse 6 (also done by Lauren Daigle) which absolutely made my day. •     3 of our friends have gone to jail in the last few weeks...😅 •     Had the best time with friends Cara and Ricky! Har-Ber Springdale, AR 12/7-12/13 Highlights! -     We had lots of friends show up to the Ward Christmas party which was amazing!! One of which was surprised to find out we weren't the same missionaries she had met before, but even without knowing anyone still decided to come! -     Went to a church with a casual bamboo forest next to it. Apparently that's a thing in AR?? -     Wow. Can't begin to describe this guy we talked to. He doesn't allow himself to care about or trust anyone but confided in us his story. I've never met someone who has a harder past and present, yet he is such a kind soul. He doesn't believe there is a God, but he really wants to. Please please pray that he will find his answer and feel the Spirit. -     On a lighter note he has been seeking a stray dog that needs him.
