Jan. 22, 2025 -- NPCs

This week I got to see our YSA V, who reassured us that though we left, he has found that each of us missionaries are NPCs (non-player characters). So pretty much... completely interchangeable/replaceable😅 While that might not be a life goal I strive for haha, as a missionary it is quite the compliment. I'm grateful for the wonderful missionaries who can be trusted to keep the work going, and grateful for a chance to play for a round in each of my areas!

Highlights! 
•     We spend a whole lot of time knocking the late night, pitch black, freezing cold, slightly sketchy streets of Rogersville. And we get a whole lot of concerned grandparents, members, and strangers. I don't know whether the chorus of "stay safe" and "be warm"s are making a difference or not, but we are still alive and finding miracles!
•     With muddy dogs and rowdy kids all over us, we had a lesson with Patty, who is actually super interested! We had briefly gone up to her car window, and she was so down to meet! I almost passed right by and I'm so glad Sister Going turned us around. 
•     Met Bernie! He had been searching out a church and asking all the preachers tough questions. I guess we passed the initial interrogation, because he said he is actually super excited for the church tour on Friday!
•     Got to go to Ellie's baptism in YSA. I am so proud of her, it was incredibly spiritual and she was crying almost the whole time🩷 God's got SO much planned for her. 

Another week has flown by, filled with memories and tender mercies and miracles. I'm trying to take advantage of every moment I've got left as a missionary! Life is made of moments, if you don't stop and look around you just might miss them. Life is hard, but it can sure be beautiful ❤️

Centerton, AR May 16 - 22, 2024 Ian got baptized this week!!😆 It was such a special day for him, and he had great support from the Deacons and the ward. I am SO excited for him and his family🩷 Highlights! •     Got to back to my last area, Har-Ber, for zone Conference and saw our sweet member Jeanne! •     Got to talk to the sweetest single dad, Alex, out smoking meat with a pretty crazy contraption. He got emotional at the end, and told us to come back in 6 months after his surgery so he could sit down and talk with us more:) •     Nothing brightens my day more than hanging out with kids at member dinners! Mar. 13, 2024 -- Golden Hour🙌

Centerton, AR  March 7th - 13th This week Wyatt was baptized!! What an incredible day. He bore his testimony at the end and shared his story. The spirit was so strong, and it is clear that God has great plans for him. The next day he received the greatest gift for his birthday, the Gift of the Holy Ghost😊 It was so cool to see the proud faces of the brothers Wyatt has met as they watched him make this step. They loved him as soon as they met him, and so many were quick to invite him to dinners and gatherings. It is never to late to be a missionary. Highlights! •     Got to be involved with a service organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they make beds for kids who don't have them. Feb. 28, 2024 -- Where's Gary

Centerton, AR  Feb 22 -28, 2024 While I may not have any crazy stories to share, this week - and every week - is full of tiny little miracles. Some people might call them coincidences, but I know they are miracles:) Tiny miracles/Highlights! •     After our visit, our friend Prakash drove to a neighbors and we sat in the car outside of his house for a good while planning where to go next. Suddenly Sister Thayn notes we should probably go before he gets back, and no joke as soon as I start driving his headlights turn the corner😂 The timing was crazy. •     Couldn't find my wallet, until the next morning when someone had left it untouched on our windshield. •     One of our friends is turning his life to God. He had a court case after someone attacked him and texted us right after saying that God told him to forgive his oppressor, and he did. •     Wyatt!
