Out knocking doors we get a ride variety of responses. Sometimes you meet Christians, other times satanists. Sometimes they yell through the door, then other times they slam it in your face. Sometimes they've been prepared by God and need a message, other times they just need a prayer. Only if you're very very lucky will they peek their head out and say: "no, but would you like a ham and cheese croissant?"🥐🙏

This week has been absolutely wonderful, we've been getting a hang of YSA and working so well off of each other. Which of course means... it's about time for transfers!! After just one transfer together here in YSA, Sister Barrus and I are BOTH leaving!! I'm excited to finish my mission off in Rogersville, but oh man sad to leave so soon!! 

Highlights!
•     Sister McCrary from PV10 (my home ward) will be taking my place, which is such a tender mercy! I am confident the area is in good hands!
•     I'm SO grateful I got to spend a transfer with Sister Barrus!! She is so diligent, and I've watched her testimony and confidence grow. And oh my goodness her smile is contagious, she makes me laugh and everyone loves being around her!💕
•     Ellie is so so excited for her baptism!! This decision has had some hard repercussions from family and friends, but her testimony is so strong.
•     Ryan had his interview for baptism and it was so spiritual and tender!! He is still a very quiet guy, but the more we meet the more his confidence in himself grows🙏 I still don't know all that much about him, but I feel the Saviors love so strongly when I am around him.
•     Wow we have the most incredible members out here. Jack, V, Jessica, Clara, Kayla, Cayci, Kade, Sam... the list goes on. We had such a wonderful time serving with them. Could not have asked for better company.

Har-Ber Springdale AR January 18th-24th, 2024 Hey!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We've kept busy here, so straight to the highlights! •     Parul really wants both of her kids to be baptized, but one of them doesn't need to be (we believe it is only necessary for those who are old enough and able to understand the commitment). We were worried she wouldn't let Wendy be baptized if Patrick couldn't, but it suddenly clicked for her that we aren't excluding him, he is simply whole and pure already😊 •     We knocked into our member Sandy's son, he wasn't super interested, but we mentioned it to her. She said she's felt prompted lately that she needs to tell her kids about the Book of Mormon and this helped confirm it!! Out with the Swamp Kittens -- Jan. 31, 2024

Har-Ber Springdale, AR Jan 25th - 31st, 2024 Another great week here in Springdale! I've been working with Parul and her family pretty much since starting and they have come so far. This week they sat in first hour of church (sacrament meeting) for the first time! That was a big steppingstone, Parul has been so worried about it knowing how crazy her kinds can be. It went wonderfully and everyone had a great experience. Wendy is on track to be baptized on the 17th!! Highlights! •     Hit 6 months today!!🎉 •     Saw a live possum "swamp kitty" crossing the street •     We had records of someone the missionaries had visited and had a pretty bad interaction with.
