Aug. 7, 2024 -- Wedding Bells

August 1 - 7, 2024

Remember how I said last week that we were matchmakers? Well that has taken on a whole new meaning and now we are wedding planners!! We taught Kim and George the Law of Chastity yesterday, and they said they would talk together and pray about it. Then not 10 minutes later Kim calls us and said they decided to get married!! This Saturday before work. So buckle up, it's going to be a wild week.

Highlights!
•     So many miracles with Kim and George. They are so humble and filled with joy from the spirit. Kim told us she knew the Book of Mormon was true that very first lesson, and felt the spirit so strongly that day. She even asked for Sundays off because she is "becoming a Mormon" and wants to come to church regularly. I'm constantly astounded by the faith of our friends.
•     Got homemade pizza from our member who served in Italy! It was amazing. 
•     We have heard some crazy tales about the YSA ward so we were really worried sending Alyssa there way. We were so relieved to hear her experience though, she's in God's hands!
•     Knocked Lunas door and she invited us in for a Bible Study with a bunch of friends from her congregation! They didn't seem thrilled to see us there haha but it turned out to be a really cool discussion.

At the same time that all these beautiful miracles are happening, our friends and new members are also going through their hardest trials. More than I can say and more than I could ever imagine. It's hard when there's not much we can do but point them to Christ. I don't know all the reasons why these bad things happen - but I know that Christ has felt them, he understands perfectly, and he is the one who can rescue us.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

Mar. 13, 2024 -- Golden Hour🙌

Centerton, AR  March 7th - 13th This week Wyatt was baptized!! What an incredible day. He bore his testimony at the end and shared his story. The spirit was so strong, and it is clear that God has great plans for him. The next day he received the greatest gift for his birthday, the Gift of the Holy Ghost😊 It was so cool to see the proud faces of the brothers Wyatt has met as they watched him make this step. They loved him as soon as they met him, and so many were quick to invite him to dinners and gatherings. It is never to late to be a missionary. Highlights! •     Got to be involved with a service organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they make beds for kids who don't have them. Centerton, AR  Feb 22 -28, 2024 While I may not have any crazy stories to share, this week - and every week - is full of tiny little miracles. Some people might call them coincidences, but I know they are miracles:) Tiny miracles/Highlights! •     After our visit, our friend Prakash drove to a neighbors and we sat in the car outside of his house for a good while planning where to go next. Suddenly Sister Thayn notes we should probably go before he gets back, and no joke as soon as I start driving his headlights turn the corner😂 The timing was crazy. •     Couldn't find my wallet, until the next morning when someone had left it untouched on our windshield. •     One of our friends is turning his life to God. He had a court case after someone attacked him and texted us right after saying that God told him to forgive his oppressor, and he did. •     Wyatt!
